Actually gonna do it!
It's amazing how things can change. A co-worker at Avalanche, Hyrum Osmond left to work at Disney feature and it really got the old "want to work on feature films" itch going for me. My family is in a much better situation to move this time and I just wanted to test the waters and ended up with a job at Dreamworks!
I know.....I can't believe it either.

congrats Brandon! Avalanche is losing a great talent. But Dreamworks is gaining one :) Good luck in your adventure.
That's wonderful, I hope you'll be very happy there! I've visited the campus a few times and it seems like a very tranquil place to work.
I can believe it.
Congratulations Brandon!

...Oh wait, I'll just bring it to you! word on the street is Andy's heading over. CARPOOL@!
hey man, I was visiting your blog to give you a comment on your showreel and I read the news! Congrat man.
Regarding the reel, you might have screwed up at the export. It is playing at 21.07 fps instead of 24, hence the poppyness of the animation. Open the movie inspector in Quicktime pro and you will see.
Just found your site. As a student/animation noob starting AM in Jan 08, your stuff and journey is def an inspiration for me! Good to see AM helped you pack in some great animation skills and you're able to make a living doing what you love! Keep it up!
Because you are animation awesomeness! Can't wait to hear about what you're working on.......oh, wait you never update your blog. I guess we'll never know.
