Starting to Render

So how do you like the new music? It is easy to change it back if I want to. I found a guy who custom wrote it for my short(actually thanks goes to Kenshi). It is very different but it dynamically changes with the emotions of the characters which is cool.

Also check out my glass! I am really happy with it, I haven't done much rendereing before but I had fun with this.

looks very cool brandon. I love the glass!

I'm not sure how much you've worked on the lighting... but the only comment I would make is to make sure you have dark dark areas and other areas with spotlights. In general when I start lighting a shot I turn off all the lights in the scene and then start one light at a time (key) (filler) all that good stuff.

Overall it's looking amazing.. and when really counts is the animation and that's solid as a rock man. Keep it up!

I can't believe you're almost done with classes and your short film! That's just crazy!

Thanks for the comments! Yeah I know the lighting is not very good. I have spent alot of time on it and it still doesn't look good. Oh well, it is better than a playblast I think.

Oh, and I think I am gonna go back to the old music. Everyone seems to like it better.

That's great advice olivier. I used the GIJoe lighting rig on just about every render I made. It's a great quick lighting solution if you don't have time or the knowledge to really put into it.

I also agree I like the original music. Glad to hear its back ;)
